Q2- What is ReflecToes?

ReflecToes is a company that offers a range of reflective products designed to enhance visibility and promote safety during outdoor activities such as running, cycling, and walking.

Q3- Who is the founder of ReflecToes?

The founder of ReflecToes is Ben O'Brien, who had a passion for safety and a vision to provide effective solutions for outdoor enthusiasts. He has a background in product development and years of experience in the industry, including working with renowned brands like Nike and Under Armour.

Q4- How did the idea for ReflecToes come about?

The idea for ReflecToes came about when Ben O'Brien, the founder, noticed the effectiveness of reflectors on pedals and wheels while riding bikes with his family every day in Montreal. He then thought about the usefulness of reflective areas on socks while feeling unprotected around cars. With his experience in product development for big sporting brands, he knew how to create a reflective sock.

Q5- What products does ReflecToes offer?

ReflecToes offers a range of products designed to enhance visibility and promote safety during outdoor activities. Their flagship product is their reflective sports socks, which feature a large reflective area around the ankles. They also offer reflective jackets made from high-quality materials and reflective gloves designed for cyclists and runners.

Q6- Why not just reflective yarns?

Reflective yarns are about 1/10th as bright as the high reflective heat transfer technology we use. Our reflective uses thousands of tiny spherical mirrors all pointing outward, while reflective yarns don't have a mirrored surface and are pointing in all directions (including at your skin). While reflective yarns are better than nothing, the brightness of ReflecToes technology is leagues ahead.

Q7- Can't I just use reflective velcro strips on my arms and legs?

Yes, but it is one more thing to carry and keep track of when you have it integrated into your high-performance gloves and socks.

Q8- What is "retro-reflection"?

Retro-reflection is a technology that reflects light back to its source. Our products use retro-reflective materials to increase visibility of cyclists, runners, and walkers to nearby cars during the day or night.

Q9- What is fluorescent?

Fluorescent is a bright color that converts invisible UV light into visible light, making it more noticeable to the human eye. Our products use fluorescent colors combined with retro-reflective materials to increase visibility of athletes during low-light conditions.

Q10- What are the keys to visibility around cars?

The keys to visibility around cars are retro-reflection, fluorescent colors, and Bio-Motion patterns. Our products incorporate all three to maximize visibility and increase safety.

Q11- How bright is the reflective?

Our retro-reflective materials are extremely bright and reflective. They meet or exceed the road safety apparel standards for reflectivity per square inch, but have not been certified. They reflect light back to its source, making it easier for drivers to see athletes during low-light conditions.

Q12-How do I know what size to order?

We provide sizing charts for all of our products to help you choose the correct size. Please refer to the sizing chart provided on each product page and measure yourself to ensure the best fit.

Yes, all of our products are machine washable. However, please follow the care instructions on each product page to ensure the best results and longevity of your product.
