In controlled nighttime cyclist research, moving-joint reflectors were recognized nearly 6× farther than black clothing and over 3× farther than a reflective vest alone.2 In a separate walking study, full biological-motion placement was recognized up to 7× farther than an equal-area torso reflective configuration.1 ReflecToes puts high-intensity retroreflective heat-transfer material around the ankle so the reflective pattern moves with every running stride or pedal stroke.

Seven rows of reflective diamond pattern wrap around the ankle to provide reflective coverage from multiple directions when illuminated by headlights or a light source near the viewer. The reflective material is applied around the ankle rather than relying on a small heel patch.

The ankle material is specified at 330+ cd/lx/m² for a strong retroreflective return under headlight illumination.

Lightweight Performance Fit
