Reflective and fluorescent performance gear does not all use the same materials, so it should not all be washed the same way. The safest approach is to follow the care instructions for the specific ReflecToes product rather than using one universal laundry method.
Reflective and fluorescent socks
ReflecToes reflective and fluorescent socks are machine washable. Wash in cold water and follow the instructions on the product page. Our heat-applied reflective material is engineered for repeated washing when cared for as directed.
Reflective gloves
For ReflecToes winter cycling gloves and winter running gloves, hand wash in cold water and hang dry. This is the preferred method for protecting the glove fabrics, reflective elements, insulation, grip surfaces, and touchscreen materials.
Summer cycling gloves
Hand wash ReflecToes summer cycling gloves in cold water and hang dry. Before washing, close the hook-and-loop straps. Leaving the straps open can allow them to catch or pull at other fabric.
Reflective jackets and vests
Most ReflecToes outerwear should be hand washed in cold water and hang dried. Avoid high heat, which can be hard on technical coatings, laminated materials, and reflective components.

Why the care method matters
ReflecToes products combine performance textiles with specialized visibility materials. Gentle washing and hang drying help protect those materials and extend the useful life of the garment. For outerwear, hand washing and hang drying also avoids unnecessary stress on waterproof membranes, seam construction, reflective applications, and hook-and-loop closures.
