Winter riding reduces driver visibility and road traction at the same time. Standard winter gloves address warmth but not visibility, which leaves cyclists exposed in conditions where drivers have less time to react and less ability to stop. These gloves solve both with thermal insulation and retroreflective panels built into the same glove.
The retroreflective strip runs across the wrist and activates in headlights every time your hands move on the bars. Fluorescent yellow fabric adds daytime conspicuity for dawn and dusk riding when it is dark enough to matter but headlights are not always on. The combination covers the full range of low-light conditions throughout a winter training season.
Three versions are available to match different riding conditions. The waterproof version uses a sealed shell that keeps hands dry in rain and wet snow. The breathable version balances moisture management with thermal insulation for sustained high-intensity efforts. The standard version provides warmth without the weight of waterproofing for cold but dry conditions.
Thermal fleece lining retains heat without adding so much bulk that grip and dexterity are compromised. A windproof outer shell blocks cold air on descents and in headwinds. Touchscreen-compatible fingertips allow full use of a phone or GPS computer without removing the glove. Padded grip zones on the palm improve handlebar control in rain, snow, and vibration-heavy terrain.
